"Whats going to happen when I list something for sale to ''site contributors only'' ?"
How do you know who is and who isn't a contributor? I've been hanging around here since early 2005. My donations total in the hundreds of dollars. Ain't diddle squat reflecting that on here. Gotten to the point I don't really care.
Dave, below everyone's name/handle that has contributed in yellow it reads ''site $$ contributor''.

DAVE BERG...send (another) PM to the site administrator. You contributed and it should say so,
...I don't think it really needs to be a rule, just like it would be nice if it was a rule that you had to be a site contributor to use the classifieds......... To me it is far more important that a member contribute if he/she is making money from the site...
Good point, I agree. If sellers should contribute, then so should buyers. Both are getting what they want from the classifieds.
Jeff
I don't think it needs to be a dollar amount per transaction. I think the point that is trying to be made is that if you want to get the benefits of buying or selling and making money because the forum exists, then you should be a "site contributor". If you just want to read, gather info and hang out and you don't want to pony up a few dollars, so be it. At least the people that are making money should contribute. How much?
