Cause and effect. And prediction.

For PRS or F I bring enough ammo for the match. :D I guess you BR guys do your own thing.
Different games, different strategies. For the short range group game the accuracy requirements generally preclude preloading, because load adjustments are likely to be required to maintain tune throughout the day, as ambient conditions change. Targets are measured two three places and averages taken to four. Matches may be won or lost by razor thin margins.

I can't imagine why you WOULDN'T anneal your brass every firing for the life of the brass and the consistency of process.
Really, you can't imagine it?

Annealing so often isn't going to help unless:
#1 your annealing is perfect
#2 your load likes lower neck tension
#3 you size so excessively that annealing is actually needed

I have nothing against annealing, but I've never needed it frequently.
Just an occasional stress relieving

Yeah, I won't even pretend to know BR strategies. Maybe someday I'll get into it, but right now I'm ignorant of it.

No, I can't imagine it. Its easy, its fast, and when I'm doing the same thing every time, I can expect consistency. It literally takes five seconds per cartridge. I waste more time than that with cleaning my brass from PRS matches.

I think you fellers are bored. I think watching college football and then go out and learn to read your flags.
Collage football??

One thing I’ve learned about reloading/shooting over my years is this. Just when you believe you have everything figured out someone will come along and throw a monkey wrench into your thought process.

So many different ways/combinations/setups to reach your end goal in this hobby….

GREAT summary.

Another I heard recently....

" I check some 20 different things in my reloading. Probably only 10 actually matter. I'm just not sure which ten."

Reloading should never be religion. Manitain a professional scepticism. But don't slide over into agnosticism. :)
