You did notice also that only single-shot rifles will be allowed?hope these added to list
Good. Nice choice. Ruger #1 fan myself. Hope it works out for you.the rifle i hope to use is a ruger 1 that was barreled with a badger barrel by mike penrod. and shots great
Interesting that the 32-40 and 44-40 are both considered a bottle neck.
List so far. Actual rules still in the works. Remember, starts 2023 season if approved.
None that I've seen, but I haven't been paying much attention. The website says details are still to be worked out, but I don't understand their rationale. I tried pretty hard many years ago (about the time they finally allowed a handgun-only season) to talk them into making rifles chambered in original old black-powder cartridges legal, but no interest. Done with deer hunting myself, but glad to see a little common sense emerging. I do think some of the allowed cartridges are a bit under-powered for my comfort level.Interesting that the 32-40 and 44-40 are both considered a bottle neck.
Have they published the criteria for the definition?
Probably a degree of taper.
Don’t agree with the 45 colt listing. They should try a 325 grain slammer at 1100 fps then call it light.
the 454 casull is on legal to use list
