BULLETS.COM Wrapping up!

BULLETS.COM WRAPPING UP

Hi Everyone,

Unfortunately, the time has come for Bullets.com to be wrapped up as a business.

Some history:

I owned the URL Bullets.com for many years, and decided to have a stand alone business that dealt in shooting supplies since I am so involved in shooting. Unfortunately, the timing of the launch just over 3 years ago was not good due to the market being so hot. We were unable to buy some products (powder, primers & some shooting supplies) directly from the manufacturers and had to buy them through middlemen. Often, we were accused of gouging when the reality was that we were paying a premium, higher price to a middleman. In any case, that’s neither here nor there.

THE PLAN:

1) Bald Eagle branded products – this is our house brand with most items designed by us and brought in from overseas by ourselves. Rests, rifle cases, safes, etc. These products will be shifted to and available from Grizzly.com.

2) Bartlein Barrels – shifted to Grizzly.com

3) Manners and Keystone Rifle Stocks – shifted to Grizzly.com

4) March Scopes – March Optics is a separate company and doing very well. March Scopes will continue to be available directly from March, as well as from many dealers, including Optics Planet. March has its own personnel and you will be able to speak to a March salesperson directly.

5) Pacific Tool & Gauge – shifted to Grizzly.com

All other brands will be discontinued and sold off at or below cost. In fact, many items are already below cost and almost everything will be marked down by the end of today to get rid of stock. This is your chance to stock up on supplies of anything we carry at very good pricing. Once it is gone, it’s gone and no backorders will be taken.

SHOUT OUT TO THE FOLLOWING COMPANIES:

* Berger Bullets
– A classy company with great products and excellent people.
* Sierra Bullets – Good people, good products and easy to deal with.
* Norma – Another great company with excellent products.
* Nosler – Excellent quality products and good folks.
* Berry’s Bullets – Very good handgun bullets, and easy to deal with.
* Redding – Fantastic products, excellent to deal with.

The goal is to close down Bullets.com as a separate business. None of our employees will be lost. They will be re-allocated into some of our other larger businesses that are doing really well and growing.

No, Bullets.com is not going bankrupt! Every bill is being and will be paid as usual. The business is being shut down as it is losing money and needs to be integrated into a similar business.

Unfortunately, even though I own many businesses, Bullets.com was a specialty business that could not fully be integrated into one of the others. The products like Bald Eagle, etc., will be integrated into Grizzly.com as mentioned before.

Ultimately, the URL, Bullets.com (very valuable on its own,) will be disposed of to the right party at the right price.

We appreciate the patronage of many customers in the past and are sorry we have to take this step. Our goal is to be done by the end of March 2018.

Sincerely,

Shiraz Balolia
Thank You for the heads up and your past and continued support of the shooting sports. Bullets has helped many shooters during its time in operation and will be missed.

Just want to say thanks Shiraz for everything and we can all understand that if your not making a profit, there is no sense of continuing. IMO when you took over selling March scopes, with your discounts that we couldn't get from the previous distributor (not his fault) you single handedly made March scopes more affordable for everyone. I'm sure everyone who bought one would want to thank you.

Thank you all for the kind comments.

Some answers to questions:

Norma 6mm Dasher brass and .284 W brass. Currently we have plenty in stock. However, since it is a Norma product it will be available from the dealers that choose to stock it. Now would be a good time to buy from Bullets.com if you will be needing some in the next year.

We are liquidating stuff and if we have the item that you ordered in stock, it will be shipped. Any items that are on backorder from the manufacturer and are not already on the way to us will be cancelled and customers for those items will be notified.

Lots of items at great prices right now and we have a LOT of stock of a variety of products, so browse through the site as there may be something useful for you on there that you cannot live without. If you do Facebook, like the Bullets.com page and that way if there are some final "throw away" prices in the final days, that will be posted on Bullets.com Facebook page.

Bummer Shiraz, sorry your experience with the spin-off got out of hand....

Glad too you’re a stand-up employer! When the company my last boss owned went south, he ended up owing me $30,000 in unpaid earnings & expenses I couldn’t get a lawyer interested in helping me collect.

Hope to see you again someday at Winnequah, or maybe Raton.

Shiraz,
Thank for the business update and the products these past few years. First class all the way !
Thank you again,
John

Shiraz,
Thanks for taking the risk and being an entrepreneur. Bullets.com may not have worked out as you had planned, but keep swinging and maybe your next adventure will be a home run.
Wishing your the best,
Ben

Agreed. Have seen Shiraz in action as a businessman and I appreciate his honesty, transparency. RARE these days in a world full of selfish people. Wish I had the cash to buy now...

I took the liberty of letting the guys on bullseyeforum.net know. You have a good deal on somethings they might find they need.

sucks to hear.... FYI now we know why lapua 6br brass was done for on the site... Suck to hear the industry is doing that bad... as WE ALL wish we could own a reloading and supply store and make money to support our own habits...

Your company will be missed by every shooter. Thank you for your years of providing us what we needed at a reasonable price.

The Best of Luck. I was lucky enough to meet you on the Range a Gentlemen's , Gentlemen......

Ordered up 6 Norma Dasher Brass :D This is my sad note :( My Rifle is not finished yet ?
Hope someone picks up the Brass sales ??

Again the very best.
Don

Best of luck, Shiraz; but sorry to see bullets.com go.

On the other hand, I drive to Springfield every year to shop at Grizzly - a great store, and well worth the trip. I'll look for the added products next time.

Thank you for sharing.

We ran out of the smaller packs of the Dasher brass and are converting the leftover 2000 qty cases into smaller units so it is easier for people to buy. Cannot believe how fast it is flying out! Thanks for the support guys. Oh, I had to slide a case aside for myself as I am converting my "wildcat" Dasher to a Norma Dasher which will soon be listed as a standard caliber under SAAMI. This brass will continue to flow into the USA through Norma in the future, but right now we are the only ones that have it.
