Bullet for the 6BR ?

I don't know if it was a run of barrels that were like that or what?
I was having trouble getting mine to shoot at 1K.
Jason Baney (I was at Williamsport) told me to check the twist (after I told him it was a broughton barrel), and sure enough, it's actually about 8.25. Jason said he had one like that as well, and had to step down to the 103gr Spencers for his 6BR to work at 1K (and it worked very well!) He couldn't get consistent groups with anything 105gr +
As soon as I got home from Williamsport that day, I pulled the other Broughton-barreled 6BR out, and sure enough, that one is 8.25 as well.
Don't get me wrong, both Broughton's I have are way more accurate than I am. They're superb barrels in my opinion. I'd recommend them to anyone! Find a bullet that the barrel likes, and it will hammer! (105 Amax in my case)
Drop Port - try some amax's in that thing... you might be surprised! (or not, since they're not in production right now)

My smallest 100Yd groups are with the 107's. I think it could be competitive in a short range match with that load if I wanted to. Over flags, I shot a handful of groups in the 1's, and I'm not that good lol! 8 twist 6BR's are the shit!
