Brake for a 6mm caliber cartridge?

I put a muzzle brakes and more on my 6 dasher hunting gun. It’s there 3 port. Works extremely well. Watched the hair fly and the antelope drop at the shot from 298 yds this year. I don’t even lose my site picture when doing load development at 100 yds on a 8x11 piece of paper.

There are some decent breaks out there but I've stuck with APA, if the weather is right I can watch the vapor trail to the target granted the rifle is about 12# I even run one on my 223 that I shoot 3 gun with lol they do add a bit of noise though.

I just had another 6-47L tube chambered up for my play gun for when the current tube goes south. I decided to try a Witt Machine clamp on. made a huge difference in seeing impacts. I HATE using a "death grip" when shooting , but that was the only way to see my impacts at close to moderate ranges. Now I shoot with my normal grip and can see everything. After I am done breaking this tube in I am going to switch the brake over to my old tube (same exact diameter).

Now, to be honest, I ALWAYS wear hearing protection when I shoot. I won't shoot a brake without muffs!!!

American Precision Arms Little Bastard is great. I have been shooting one on my 6 Creedmore for 3 years now. Really helps to spot hits during PRS matches.

I don't have them on my match rifles - but do on all of my varmint rifles and most of my big game rifles. Seeing my hits is a bigger deal for me than the felt recoil reduction (though I do appreciate the recoil reduction on my bigger guns like .375 H&H). The guns just would not be as fun to shoot without them. I know some people who hate them - including my lady friend who is an audiologist.

Be nice if someday we can just walk in a gun shop and buy a suppressor with a built in brake without the six month wait.

Any of you guys run a muzzle brake for a 6mm caliber like a 6mm creedmoor or 6x47L?

I know it helps stay on target better, but with such little recoil, I'm almost tempted to say no to a brake for this.
Git a Witt Machine clamp on brake. you will think you are shooting a 222. Great people to deal with.Just my two cents Tommy Mc

Another vote for Ross or Harrels. I have used lots of different brakes and these are the ones I keep going back to.

My first was a Shrewd brand like 25 bucks ... about that many years ago.. People laughed at that on my 243W varmint. But that rig shot like a house on fire. Mike
