The ports venting gas at 10 oclock (ish) are not in alignment with the opposite side (ports). This is done to help facilitate controlling the high/left recoil impulse imparted from the recoil of right hand twist barrels.. it helps you stay closer to the aimpoint during recoil.
Look at the picture of the flour/air blast. If you look closely you can see the angle is slight differently from the 2 oclock to the 10 oclock exit ports.

Bummer, most of my barrels are left twist.

The Adapters, may / may not,.. work "well" from "some" of, the remarks that, I've heard !
THREAD the damn thing,.. 5/8 - 24 TPI,. like most Brakes, are ( maybe, a SECOND Model needed ?? ).
Personally,.. I like, Tubb's Brake, "Idea's" ( a WELL thought out, Brake ! ) but NOT, the BIG asszz,.. "adapter" on Sporter sized, Barrels ! SERIOUSLY, it can't be that "hard" to make, a "Sporter sized", hole / Thread !

Been pretty happy with one of the forum members brakes but I really like this one. I'll pick one up for my newest 25-284 build. Very effective looking design.

Very interesting concept. I hope you guys that get them will post pictures of the brake and the adapters. My criteria for a brake is no ports on the bottom, minimize rear movement, minimize muzzle rise. Not real concerned about noise & blast.
