Boss Report -- Hanging Tough with One Less Component

Good luck and prayers for a speedy recovery.
Your website is wonderful, and your management of it is excellent. That being said, it can operate on its own for a while as you recover. if everything is not up to date daily, we understand.

I spent 2.5 hours in surgery this 4/28. Had gallbladder taken out in the morning. Common surgery, but this one was pretty tough my surgeon explained. Hope to leave hospital tomorrow.

Anyway, looks like they can't keep this Forum Boss down long. I released Bulletin stories at 1 am on 4/28. And have been moderating posts and running background checks for the past few hours. I even did a phone interview from hospital bed. And just released two "retread" stories for 4/29.

I think I kept my record unbroken of working at least 5 hours/day on the site every single day of 2022. (Average is probably 10 hours per day).
Sir, I hope your recovery will be speedy, and we will keep you in our prayer's.

They removed your gall bladder from your hand? ;)

Heal up fast, Boss man!

You don't want to see the photo of my abdomen right now with three big bandages plus a drain tube and reservoir fill of goop.

Oh and I just talked to my surgeon who said the operation actually took nearly 3 HOURS because of inflammation and some huge stones that had to be broken up before the gallbladder could be extracted from the laparoscopic incisions.

When I read the title I thought it was going to be a discussion looking for a Varget substitute. I had my gaul bladder removed 8 or 9 years ago. The soreness went away gradually for me and life was back to almost normal a few weeks later. Its all downhill from where you are now!

I had a kidney removed about ten years ago and it felt like I got run over by a big bus. Not quite the same but I feel your pain.

How do you do it? Where do you find the time? This place would be a mess without a forum boss. We’d run this place into the ground in no time flat without you. Lol.

wishing you a speedy recovery, feel free to pump the brakes and throttle down a little we promise not to burn the house down while you recoup

Glad it all turned out OK and our prayers are for a speedy recovery.
Took my oldest son in for the same but his was about to explode. My son will NEVER cuss, but when the nurse said I could go back and see him first words out of his mouth ( I'm sure added buy left over happy juice) came in here with a stomach ache and they gutted me like a damn deer. His Mom taught him that I'm sure.
