Boss Report -- Hanging Tough with One Less Component

Gall bladder pain is crazy scary - feels like a heart attack. It’ll take a year or two for your digestive system to normalize but it’s nothing major.

Wish you a speedy recovery. This web site is second to none in quality and content. You do a great job.

I had double hernia surgery in 2020 - it wasn't pleasant and missed most of the 2020 ground hog campaign, but I recovered and so will you. Just take it easy and follow your doctor's instructions.

However, 2021 was the worst year of my life, my wife of 48 years passed away from cancer. I'm still struggling with losing her. If anything, it taught me two things: 1). most of the things we are concerned about are not important in the larger scheme of life, and 2). you can't waste days, life is short, and we must try to find a way to get most we can out of each day especially with those whom we love most.

God Bless you.

Thank You for all you do - it is greatly appreciated by everyone here.
Get well soon, but don't over do it.
God bless -
Alex

Very glad to hear you're doing well, I spent 2 1/2 days in the hospital myself this week. Went in Monday morning for a case of bronchitis that I've had for about 4 weeks and can't shake. After determining that I had a very low blood oxygen level, they decided to keep me around for a few days.

Had mine out in 95 and went back to work installing 2” ridgid conduit in a couple days. Coarse i was younger then. We are lucky to have the laproscope style these days. My mom had the old style and it took her 3 months to recover. one thing i found out that they didnt tell me was when you gotta go #2 you better be rite beside the head. Fortunately for me this stopped and i became ”normal” after awhile. Best luck for a speedy and complete recovery.
Isn't "head" a primitive term for the latrine? Kinda like calling the mess/chow hall the galley?

I spent 2.5 hours in surgery this 4/28. Had gallbladder taken out in the morning. Common surgery, but this one was pretty tough my surgeon explained. Hope to leave hospital tomorrow.

Anyway, looks like they can't keep this Forum Boss down long. I released Bulletin stories at 1 am on 4/28. And have been moderating posts and running background checks for the past few hours. I even did a phone interview from hospital bed. And just released two "retread" stories for 4/29.

I think I kept my record unbroken of working at least 5 hours/day on the site every single day of 2022. (Average is probably 10 hours per day).
Hang in there Sir, get fit soon.
Give a shout if we can help!
