Bolt grease question

Just curious what everyone is using these days for bolt grease?? What's the best now for the bolt lugs and handle ?
Thanx again

I've been using Wilson Combat Ultima lube. I like the fact it sticks pretty good on the lugs. I'm sure there is a ton of grease out there that is equally is good.

I use Super Lube on my lugs, I like the fact it doesn't attract dirt, very important in Precision Rifle Matches where we shoot in all weather conditions.

I like to use white Lithium grease because it is easy to clean up and wont stain my clothes in case I wipe my finger on my pants. You can buy it at any auto parts store, walmart, etc..
For a couple ounce tube should cost around $2-3. If go for the bigger 8-10 oz tubes may be as much $7-8. If you like to throw your rifle in salt water you could go to extremes and buy marine grease for about the same price.

Where do you get "I like the fact it doesn't attract dirt"?

Thx for replying... I have a pound can of white lithium grease. I was using pro gold but they don't make it anymore from what I was told.

I'm not familiar with Super Lube, but I am thinking that it may be a lubricant like Arch Oil. You wipe that on and leave it sit for 15 minutes. After that you wipe it off dry. Leaves a smooth, slick, dry, coating that will not gather dirt like grease does.

I have a pound can of white lithium grease.

That's a lifetime supply there.
I use it on everything from garage door opener, roller, bench press, fire arms, etc... . I call it "skin cream" for moving metal parts.

I use it for lots of those things as well...plus pivot pins on bikes, door hinges...it's good for all kinds of stuff !! Guess I need to look up heat specs for it.

STOS...stands for slicker than owl S***

Sold by Ponsness Warren, great grease for metal to metal stuff.

I did a very un-scientific test on greases. I had a stainless steel tool that ran in a stainless housing. This thing was a gall-o-matic! I tried all my bolt greases and other greases in the shop. The only greare that stopped the galling was finish line extreme fluoro grease. Second was mil comm tw 25, which is the stuff Bat recommends. It works better for bolt lugs than the finish line becasue it sticks better. The finish line stuff wipes off too easy. Those two greases blew away all the moly greases, including neco moly cote and brownells action lube. I did the test by honing and lapping the surfaces, degreasing and applying the grease. I ran the tool until it galled, then I would start over. I use tw 25b on my bat and have closed the bolt on some really tight cases (should have galled) and I have never galled it.

Super Lube Dry aerosol spray on firing pin/spring assy's.

Super Lube Grease on lugs, cam surfaces & shroud threads.
Super Lube Grease on slide rails of hand guns.

Super Lube aerosol spray Grease on bolt carrier group parts, charging handle & interior upper receiver of direct impingement circus/space guns to allow 90% of carbon to be simply wiped away after several hundred rounds fired.
