I’m lookin the built one, what would be your ultimate setup? Single shot or 1-3 round repeater? I like the nosler setup but kinda prefer a lh bolt setup. Thanks for all your positive input.

Ive seen several Calfee 22 pistols. They look cool and are accurate as the rifles as far as the gun goes. Shooting them has it's own "nut on the butt" problems !

Savage had made several models. One of the guy's at the club
has one with both a standard bolt and magnum bolt with head
space gauges. Don't take long to swap barrels. His best knuckle
thumper is the 458 Winchester. And he shoots it without a brake. LOL

I have a Savage. Bought it about 10-11 years ago and put it in the safe never fired it, 260 Rem., repeater. All SS in a thumbhole factory laminate stock with the accu-brake.

IMHO that is the right way for a pistol set up for hunting. I have a few XPs and a XPR. I'm right handed and to me it's weird changing hands to cycle and load. A true left hand action would be ideal (to me).

Didn't say what its purpose was, hunting is one design, longrange is totally different.

Longrange, really can't beat using an undesignated Savage target action in an ARS chassis for CF, or an Anschutz Exemplar 22 in a ARS chassis for rimfire longrange.

As mentioned you don’t mention intended purpose.
I would check and see who has what for undesignated actions. Also check on stocks/chassis that wil fit your needs. A mid grip is what a lot like. A rear grip is a whole lot easier to build/deal with.
I just bought a Striker in 6.5x47, major brain fart I think. Have not shot any of my pistolas enough as of lately.
