I bought two left port actions when I got tired of “reaching over”, but they’re coned bolt Kodiak actions where the magazine feed doesn’t really function. Make sure you get a “flat” bolt nose if you get a Kodiak. Great actions! I highly recommend them. I’m sure you can find a left port/left eject action in Kelbly’s offerings. It’s a fine company with fantastic customer support.Yeah, maybe I wasn’t clear. Right now, after I shoot I reach my left hand over top the scope/rifle to the right port to grab the brass as it comes out. With a right bolt left port I wouldn’t have to reach over I could just grab it with my left hand on the left hand side. The dual port part of it wouldn’t be a necessity, I just would rather get it for a just in case than to wish I had. Does that make sense?
I also bought a Bat SV Dual Port. It’s a single shot action but it showed me an inherent problem with dual ports. Aggressively loading (tossing) a round can send it right out the other side!
