Yup,. I've been using THIS ^^^ ,.. For Decades !Anything that is synthetic and low/high operating temperature range compatible with our application will work well.
I use STOS by Ponsness Warren.
This is exactly what I use and what a few great shooters I know use. It doesn’t smell bad, wipes off fingers easily, and seems to stay in place for entire strings, even at 100F shooting temps. It’s available on Amazon and not too expensive.I've been using Mil-comm's TW25B for several years now. Like it a lot.
Starting out I bought a couple of their small closable syringes. When those ran low I bought their 4 oz tube (linked above) for refilling the smaller applicators that live in my range and cleaning kits.
Bolt lube is not a suitable substitute for bolt grease that should be applied to the lugs before each string.This stuff is quite good.
