Best Bolt Grease?

My gunsmith recommended the "Benchrite-Super bolt lube" from Sinclair/Brownells for the bolt body.

A little bit on the fingertips applied to the body.

I also use a syringe of bolt grease to put a "dab" on the lugs. Lately, it's been either the "Sinclair" version or TM- bolt grease.

A friend of mine Bob Crone long time 1000 yds benchers and US F-class team member, got me using what he uses. auto high speed grease, the red type. A large tube will last for years. It will fill a syringe 100 time for $5.00

I've always used an automotive wheel bearing grease. Never had any galling issues stainless or otherwise. Sparingly.

Shot yesterday and it was 19 deg out. I used rem oil. my bolt grease was almost to thick at those temps.

Been contemplating a change in the bolt grease department. I figure this will be all over the place but curious what the "Top Guns" are currently using.

Archoil 8300-rated at 1,813,000 PSI, and the lowest coefficient of friction in tribology at 0.003.

just some heavy duty bearing grease Mobile 1 something. I use it on my John Deere equipment It works well, packing wheel disc bearings is a must and they take a licking
