I know that a big part of that is due to the care and attention it got from the original owner. I have that same barrel on my LH Savage action, IIRC I waisted just over three months. If shoots Sierra 1365 55gr Gamekings great, it's the only bullet I've tried as I have a bunch and the rifle was built for groundhogs and coyotes.
