Best 10/22 trigger without breaking the bank

So I have a 10/22 with a Kidd barrel, in a titan stock. Looking for ideas on a upgraded trigger for my rifle.

I looked at the kids triggers, but I’m curious if there are any comparable triggers for a bit cheaper?

There's a couple videos on line about making your stock trigger group better if you wanted to go that route . I did mine by reshaping the sear angle with a dremmel and polishing everything up. Changing the angle is critical cause if you go too far you will need a new hammer, so go slow. This change will lighten the trigger pull to 2.5# or so. There's also a hammer, sear replacement from aftermkt mfgs.

There is no comparable trigger, to the Kidd 2 stage, it is the best 10-22 trigger IMO. I went thru this myself. Any money you put into something else could go into a Kidd.

If you had ever pulled one you would pay for the Kidd.
For sure. I put one on my 10/22 squirrel shooter with a thumbhole stock and 1x4 scope. For me it is all I could ask for with Eley 10x. Please note: I had to upgrade to another Eley brand for ejection purposes. They make one for semi-auto firearms with a tad more power and still acurate.

I'm using the Kidd guide rod and light spring. I have had no cycling issues with any rounds I've tested.

I put mine on a thumbhole stocked , long barreled gun also. The stove pipe and jamming issues were fixed before the trigger was added. I don't remember whose I used but a new extractor with the match chamber made all my issues go away. The new extractor had a hook that was bent further back. After installing I thought all the gurus on the net may be right to just bend the stock extractor around some it should work.
