Sometimes. There have been times I’m convinced I’m getting something that’s highly regarded and I try it and don’t like it, so I sell it. For the most part, these aren’t high end optics either. One day I’ll try a NF or high end Sightron, but most of my glass is Nikons, Leupolds, Burris and Weavers. Some just “work” for me on a particular rifle so I keep them. I think that’s one of the best parts of this “habit”. New experiences with new-to-me rifles and optics.

I have fallen into the trap more than once... as they say with age comes wisdom. I finally figured out some turds are best left unpolished. Now if I can just get my son to take my word for it LOL
