Anyone like racing?

I wonder about something. We get on Accurate Shooter, discuss autos, dogs. whatever and benefit from the experience and knowledge of fellow shooters. Good deal. Can we get on any forums such as those and discuss guns. Curious if any of you ever have and what was the result.

Pikes Peak Hillclimb can be seen on Mobil 1 Facebook page. Also, check out Pikes Peak International Hill Climb official site on Facebook for great videos!!!! Just remember you have to know how to turn the steering wheel to watch.

I‘m a member of yellowbullet.com and there’s an an entire section dedicated to ”the bullet”(guns) and I’m also a member of a guitar amp building forum and firearms have been civilly discussed there as well.

I love those older cars, in those days you could almost compete out of pocket so to speak. Yet another sport turned into a rich mans sport. My all time favorite was watching Mario Andretti run his last race in Pennsylvania in his home town where my father was born which is Nazereth . My all time favorite is Drag Racing.
Same here, I was pit crew on AA/altered for 20+ years that my buddy drove. 220mph @ 6.85sec

I have a 2021 Dodge Challenger 1320. Runs 12's at 110 in the quarter mile. Leather, air and stereo. 22-25 mpg on the highway.

There's an entire forum over on the Expedition Portal that discusses guns on a regular basis. There's also a bunch of us on the Phoenix Audio Forums who talk guns regularly. Mostly target shooting in that case - a lot of us there would have problems hunting these days due to health issues or lack of time (spelled j-o-b).

Used to autocross a bunch years ago. Had a pretty competitive C Street Prepared Miata for a number of years. Lots of fun had back then.

I thought Mustangs and the MoPar muscle cars had a muffler bypass control. Maybe just the Mustang. I've heard many loud Challengers, but probably aftermarket (and illegally loud) exhausts then.

My 08 Vette had them from the factory. Not ratty at all.

The Mustangs with flat-plane crank and factory muffler bypass are really offensive in town, and totally illegal in nearly any municipality. Few motorcycles on the street are legal now. The noise laws are simply no longer enforced. I was buying a muffler for my Civic. The kid at the FLAPS counter asked me "Why don't you just leave off the muffler, like I do?" I informed him it would be illegal and he said "Really? Are you sure? Never heard of that."
