This is a good way for the wife and I to talk. Set down talk a little and try to find all the edge before she does.

Here is a new one for you, rocketry, flying rockets. Since 1971 I've been building and flying solid propellant rockets of all sizes and shapes. From the little Estes kits we all flew when we were kids up to as big as I dare.
Here is one of my favorites, the King Kraken. 42" long, 3" in diameter with flights up to 3000' AGL.
She is taking off on an H128 White Lightning motor ...
I'm good at these too! I did one, the box said 3-5 years and I did it in like 3 hours!
Win, lose or draw...I discovered that it's painful no matter what. Gawd, I'm oldThere’s a lot of car people here. Are there any fighters? I thought there be more jui-jitsu, boxing, wrestler, kick boxers here. Does anyone want to fight me? I need to knock the rust off…
and get my butt kicked…like the good ole days. Lol
Same here. My wife has a really good eye. I don't have the patience for a whole puzzle. This is a good way for the wife and I to talk. Set down talk a little and try to find all the edge before she does.
From high-tech to the opposite. We need to find a pumpkin chuncker and a precision cannon shooter. All the motors I use are commercially produced by Aerotech and Cesaroni. Making your own motors with ammonium perchlorate, sorbitol or sucrose is called EX (experimental) flying. Google EX Rocketry. I fly at National Association of Rocketry events with commercial motors where members are insured against harm to persons or damages to property and small furry mammals. This came in handy at the last launch as two cars got dented and one guy suffered a minor scalp injury from rockets under recovery.
Very Cool, is that around Sedona?few more...

I restored this 1974 Case 444 a few years ago. Dad bought it new. I've still got the original owners manual and the bill of sale. Good old little tractors! For years I have been rebuilding old high end garden tractors. Have done six so far.
This is the last one I did.View attachment 1302110
Into this
I was into rockets for some time too! Lots of fun! I still have a few of my AP powered rockets. I have one little F powered rocket that flies over 5000'! I miss the sound of those bigger motors lighting off! Thanks for the memories! Here is a new one for you, rocketry, flying rockets. Yes, everyone but me was shocked that it flew so well or at all.
Finally, the mothership, our Space Ark.

All three are of my own design. That includes the rocket on pad 25 in the photo above, it is the 3FNC. It belonged to a customer who helped me with this certification flight.
Need to find pictures of my 4" diameter upscale of the HMAS Bonestell.
I love that! I'm the biggest nerd when it come to archaeology, History and Discovery Channels are my main channels ;-)not sure about the "cool factor" but I enjoy hiking the back country around here discovering and photographing ancient archaeological sites
I have the DJI Pro (with screen), didn't want the hassle of connecting a phone or tablet every time I flew. I used it as an insurance adjuster for the last 4 years or so over some major storm damage. Most recently picked up a drone...month ago I started looking & the same day had one ordered before noon....DJI Mini 2....DJI is probably the biggest mfg out there.....many rules & regs to know & follow....for example the drone can only weigh 249 grams....or you need a class & license to register it with the FAA...Mini 2 weighs 245...This thing is amazing what it does & can do....6 mile range...but the rule of drones it to keep it in line of sight (LOS) Oh yes....know where the 'RTH' button is if you need it...Return to Home....crazy thing will return to the spot where you launched it...anyhow...still earning....how much ?? Drone with 2 year crash warranty...charger & 3 batteries...$650 ish As in any hobby plenty of gadgets to buy extra...batteries last approx 26 minutes each flight Here's a few test pics....still working on videos....
