Get rid of that front plate! That belongs on a Chevy, not a Mopar. LOL. I use to see Da Grump at the International Drag Racing Hall of Fame banquet in Gainesville in the early 90's. Him and Linda Vaughn were really close and he would always sit with her. Bill was a real character.

Bill started off with Chevrolet in the early 60's then Chevrolet pulled out of racing sometime early or mid 63 if my memory is correct and in 64 & 65 is when he drove the Hemi Mopars. Bill will always be known for his Chevy's not the 2 season's he drove a Hemi Powered vehicle. But your right very few people knew that he drove a Hemi car for 2 years.Brush up on your drag racing history!
Post above is correct. Jenkins drove a '65 A990 HEMI Belvedere in the 1965 season and dominated stock class.

This was my stepdads, he was a Mopar nut, sure miss him, I try to take it town when I get time, brings back a lot of good memories.
Pretty much everything on the car is Mopar except the body, he did it all.
He could repair a broken egg shell and fix the crack of dawn, guys like him are few and far between.
