I have held out as long as I can

1970 Challenger Convertible, Plum Crazy / Black, 340, Slap Stick, AC, etc. My mom got it new and I still have it. 90,000ish miles. The original exhaust is still on it.

Had but gone:
1968 Dart 340 auto
1969 Datrt GT 383 4spd

A good MOPAR Man friend put a 440 in a Mirada, 727, 8 3/4, super sleeper. He’s got 6 pack, Hemi cars, etc. He MOPARS like we shoot.

72 318 barracuda. Plum with white vinyl top that ragged out and tore off. I stupidly sold it off for $600 in 1989 to a kid who totaled it a week later. I kept the 67 Firebird and still have it nearly 40 years later. But it hasn't seen the road since 1986

I keep my tags current, but have a code. If it’s not nice enough to put the top down, the car don’t come out. Problem is if it’s that nice Im on the scooters. Besides I’m terrified someone will be texting and wreck me…..in my car.

This was one of the many Hemi cars that a neighbor of mine had. It is also the same Hemi Cuda Convertible that sold on Mecum for over 3 million dollars. He sold it for $6600 with the hauler way back. Who would've known?

If anyone out there knows someone looking for a 2022 Durango SRT Hellcat please let me know. Thanks. Speaking about Mopar guys. This is a guy who came over my house and introduced himself in August of 76 when he found out that I bought an original 70 Hemi Cuda and we've been friends ever since. His name is Al Smyth. He owns Port A Tree timing systems which makes timing systems for whole tracks, portable practice Christmas trees that u can hook up to your car to practice cutting lights in your garage. Hand held ones. He's the biggest timing system company in the world. His kids just set up an entire system at Billy Meyer's Texas Motorplex. The yellow car is his 68 Super Stock Hemi Cuda. The 09 Drag Pack Hemi Challanger is his son's Steven. Steven is building a 70 Hemi Road Runner Super Stock. Al has 2 original 70 Hemi Cuda's also. His daughter Allison Smyth Doll won the 2019 NHRA world Championship in the Stock Eliminator Class. Not only that but she is the only person ever to sweep all 5 of the Division 1 points races no matter what class. His son in law Doug Doll Jr. won the NHRA 2016 Comp National Championship and I believe if I'm not mistaken he did the same thing in his Division 2 points races like his wife he swept every points race in his class. Al's motor guy is Tony Bischoff from Indiana who makes all the crate Hellelephant motors for Dodge. The only thing I can't understand is why Al would let his daughter race a 98 Pontiac Firebird with a 350 Chevy LT1 motor in it for him always being such a huge Mopar guy. He's getting soft as he's getting old. Al's old saying was I'd rather have my sister working in a Whorehouse than my brother driving a GM.
