If you’re buying an AR, be careful, some are junk, IMHO. I own one, a full size early M16A1 clone built completely from GI parts.
I prefer an SKS to an AK. Slightly more accurate, and to the uninitiated, it looks like Elmer Fudd’s Gun so I can actually carry it around town without getting the evil eye from liberals.
But folks, the FAL in any of its variations is the man in the room and just oozes cool.
Saying that, I’ve also been looking at AR10s. I do really like those. A good one is literally second to none.

If, unless, and until the constitution hating Dems "pack the court". I'm against violence, but at some point we are going to have to fight for our constitution and our God given rights. Not many Dems care about our God given rights. If they did, we would not have legalized mass murder of the unborn in this country.
Biden's platform is not to ban ARs but to reclassify them as ClassII weapons. So you will pay the extra tax per weapon and de facto registration. Also, some states prohibit Class II weapons or their use. That will make it harder to fight in the courts including the SC and who will have the money to fight through all the various courts?
