Picking up an Inland Mfg. M1 Carbine with folding stock tomorrow.

My granddaughter just bought a new Ruger AR-556 (the base model) and is quite happy with it. My guess is that she ambled a couple of miles across the NH border into Maine and bought it at the Kittery Trading Post.

And on the way home it dropped into the creek she was driving across... Never to be seen again. Happened to me too with 1 of mine! Rest went down in the canoe during hurricane up here in North Dakota!

I'll be that guy, I would take a good hard look at ar10s, reason being, locally I can walk into a sportsmans or cabelas and buy 308 or 7.62x51 at any time. 223 and 556 are like hens teeth around here. Not to mention it's cheaper (again locally) to feed an ar10.

I purchased a bare bones Palmetto State Armory rifle last summer. Missed the boat on ammo though so I had to work up a handload. Poor trigger, but with a Vortex 1-6X and no rear bag it is shooting under an inch, with a max load of CFE223 it was shooting 1/2" 3 shot groups. I couldn't believe it.

That’s my one and only sporting rifle, and it’s been flawless. Only trouble is that I can’t find it, must have bounced out of the pickup somewhere!

News channel this morning already had on it, that Biden will move forward with his plan to ban all sales, importing and possession of all AR-15's and that type of "Assault Weapon". I hope everyone of the people that own any firearms, like this, are happy that he is going to take away theirs also, along with the one's lawful and legal people own, yet do nothing for the one's criminals and those on the black market sells each and everyday.

Before the election, stores and businesses in all the big cities boarded up their windows and doors. They did that to protect themselves from the “leftist” rioters if Trump won outright. The sooner that the SCOTUS grants certiorari to an "assault weapons" case the better. I'm expecting that to happen in this session.

Before anybody laughs, I'm well aware that it is an election year, and it has been impossible to find powder, primers, bullets, and many firearms. The thing is that I am recently in a position to afford a new AR-15, and I've wanted one for quite some time. Not willing to buy used, so that really limits my options. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes I have a combined 6 of the AR15 and AR10 rifles. I am very very worried. I cannot afford to keep them all at $200.00 per tax on each rifle and $200.00 On each 30 rd magazine. That’s $9200.00 to own guns I already have paid for. Every one says I will not give them up and turn them In without a fight if Government demands them. Easy to say , If you don’t turn them in then you become a outlaw. Look what happen in Nazi Germany. So your only option is to bury them in the ground or hind them very very well. You Could never use them ever again unless there is a total break down in America which I am sure will happen. If you GUESS wrong and break them out 5 minutes before total break down of society you Will go to prison for a long long time Under that outcome. If You guess 5 minutes to late , your late To the fight and you better hope your side Is winning or good chance you will go to prison under that outcome. I am afraid I am in a world of hurt. Worked my whole life to retire out west and target shoot and shoot parire dogs and hunt coyotes. I don’t ever see that happing.
I have been so depressed last 2 weeks over this election. I worked very very hard to re-elect Trump , took Registered Republicans to polls , made 41 phone calls day of election To swing voters , Gave Trump and republicans a good amount of campaign money. I really don’t know how I am going get out of this low feeling. Now I read Leading Demos On TV are asking company leaders To discriminate against trump supporters. We are in trouble as a country I am afraid. MD

Not so fast there, If Biden bans ARs SCOTUS will have to take it up and the Dems may not want that to happen because if SCOTUS rules against the ban it would unravel many anti gun laws throughout the country.
