Any AR-15's Left?

Before anybody laughs, I'm well aware that it is an election year, and it has been impossible to find powder, primers, bullets, and many firearms. The thing is that I am recently in a position to afford a new AR-15, and I've wanted one for quite some time. Not willing to buy used, so that really limits my options. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Geisselles are in stock pretty often.

because they are expensive as hell but they are nice

Personally, with how ammo is right now if you’re not married to the AR platform I would look at AKs also. I enjoy my zastava zpap quite a lot and I can find ammo weekly for 30cpr, while under 50cpr is incredible for 5.56 right now.

Here is a good solid basic AR, comes with a lame 10 round mag but you can buy 10 30rounders for 100$ so no big deal

You pretty much nailed what I was looking for. Funny thing is that I would swear the S&W was not available at sportsmans when I checked a couple hours ago. Can anyone else back up the claims of accuracy? Not worried about ammo because I reload for my .223 and have a decent stock of brass, powder, primers, and bullets.

My buddy has one that hated his pmc but I gave him some Winchester 62otm and it shot a legit sub moa group. I will say we swapped his handguards to a magpul and they were insanely tight. We had to destroy them to get them off. Handguards are a dime a dozen though so who cares.

I would go ahead and buy it if you’re ok with the date of delivery and are fine with that fixed front sight setup, I bet it’s only in stock because it’s the 10 round version and less people click on that one because 10 rounders suck

The magazine size is the least of my worries. I can find 30-round mags pretty easily.

My two local gun shops always have some on the shelf. Have you check some shops in your area ?

They and/or parts to build one are everywhere. even when Biden/Harris ban them, they will be millions around, just like Hillary's emails, but no one in government can find them.

In case you like to DIY, ARs aren’t that tough to assemble and you probably have a few friends that have some of the few specialized tools you would need. Lots of places sell the parts you need and I haven’t heard anything about large scale shortages of parts. I built several but they all got washed away in hurricane Harvey, even though my house didn’t flood. It was a damn shame.

AR's are not all created equal. You need to ask yourself several questions and do research. What am I going to use it for? What kind of optic do I want? Free-floating handguard? Ambidextrous charging handle - safety? Muzzle break? Upgraded trigger? As you start to sort through you'll be able to evaluate a particular make/model. For instance the Giessele Super Duty rifle comes with a ambidextrous charging handle/safety, surefire warcomp and a Giessele SSA-EX trigger (that's ~ $500 extra...). The handguard is free floating m-lok...they have sling qd points on butt stock and handguard. they make their own barrels chambered 5.56 7 twist and they are accurate. What twist the barrel is will influence which bullets they like.

Friend of mine got a Sig the other day for like $799. Was surprised it did not have M4 ramps to match the barrel ramps though. Think it came from Rural King.
