I don't anneal the necks, I just dip the case heads in liquid nitrogen to cryogenically return it to Lapua's OEM specs. It's an art that must be learned and must follow a very specific procedure. Also keeps primer keys from loosening.

That's gotta be tough on the hands. Don't the fingers tend to shatter?
You could be right since I regularly have a dermatologist cryo-treat sun-damage on my skin, and viola.....it's comes back smooth as a babies _ _ _. Probably same principle :
