All the 1000 yard IBS Heavy gun Benchrest agg. records fall!

Hard work don’t go unrecognized! Great work by a hell of a Team! Roy, Alex and Tom way to make it work! Innovation is the ability to think out of the box and put it to action!

Sounds like a good one to shoot 300meters this fall in South Carolina to buck that crazy wind at TD… hahahaha

Well deserved guys!

Congrats @tom ! @Alex Wheeler , hats off to you as well. I realize that the shooter has a lot to do with the actual scores, but it cannot be understated that the gun must be capable too and it seems that the ones you build are.

In looking over the records that are posted up, it seems that a lot of them are fairly recent. That says a ton about the advancements that are being made in all aspects of these games that we play with guns. Fun times!

You guys shouldn't pick on Roy like that! I getting behind, been out trying to get a light gun working for The Nationals.

EEP this girl is too fat for Tackdriver lol.

Seb, the stock as it sits is about 45, and then the metal is 20ish. Roy made a belly that I didn't get before setting up the rest spacing, and that can hold another 16.5 pounds. I will reconfigure this winter.

HandgunHTR, you would think the shooter is involved, but besides tuning it that is not the case I promise lol.

Furry bean, 343 neck and Lapua unturned brass. I would say Lapua finally doing wsm is partially responsible too. It was weight sorted to about 1/2 grain increments, and not messed with in any way beyond that.

Bottom fodder, yes, I have chased this barrel roughly 25 thousands so far. Not blindly at first, until tests revealed the answers.

Thanks, Tom

Congratulations. Some of your hard work payed off.

How do you measure your powder ?

Do you have any more pictures of your rifle stock you would care to share?

Thank you
Hal

Hal, I have come full circle to throwing light and topping off manually. I weight on the sartorius 503, which I think is obsolete now. You can't get exactly perfect with 4350 anyway, although I try. I will dig around for more pictures, but our lighting is crap at deep creek and mostly it looks black in those. Here's one that shows the mount, and one of how it's life started!

That color of that wood is fantastic. That stock is flat BEAUTIFUL.
Thanks for sharing your powder measuring system.
You sure know how to make that rifle preform.

You’re not just a fair weather shooter. :)

You’re a HARD CORE accuracy hound.
You put in your time and work hard for everything you get.

PS.
I got to ask, what’s the fan for ? :) To blow the snow flakes away from your scope.
