Need advice from 1000 yard shooters.

I want to join the VHA 1000 Yard Club this summer. To accomplish this I have built a 6mmBR on a trued Remington 700 action in a McMillan Hunter benchrest stock with a 27 1/2" Krieger 8-twist barrel. Optics choice was a 8-32X Burris Black Diamond in Signature rings.

I have Burris +10/-10 inserts for the rings, and will put a +10 on the bottom rear ring and a -10 on the top rear ring. On the front ring I will put a -10 on the bottom and a +10 on the top. Will this be enough to be able to zero the rifle at 1000 yards?

Any advice you would offer to help me reach my goal?

My email is gburroughs@waytec.com

Thanks, Glenn

That should get you there. Make sure that you have at least 30" more elevation in your scope after you have your 100 yard zero.

Well it seems burris got this scope right as far as adjustment is concerned, Cabelas says it has 110" of adjustment! THat is impressive for a burris

your setup will be fine, and you should actually be able to click to 1500yds easily if my info is right!
