ADJUSTING NECK TENSION

@JEFFPPC on those bbls, did you gage them or slug them?

What is your guess on those two bbls that were mentioned above? Do you think it was bbl gage or something else that moved you down a grain?
 
I really have no idea. One was competitive but gave 25% less barrel life than any of the others. One was never competitive, ok on a varmint rifle but not for matches. They were all bought as .237.
 
With different sized expansion mandrels like the ones 21st Century makes for each caliber you can make fine adjustments. They also help with reducing runout. I like seating with a hydraulic gauged press to check consistency. I believe that is most important.
