ADG 300 wsm brass testing

But I didn’t ask you…
Since you just got your ADG brass, which brand brass were you using in your 2 wins?
score wins, not group.
norma but i had to buy a bunch and even then did not get the small spread i wanted.
and the one not win
i have bought lots of 300 wsm brass, and sold most of it as not suitable for match use.
mine will be here tomorrow and i will begin my sort

that's exactly what i have a 7-300 wsm improved with a 45 degree shoulder
Technically, no. An improved cartridge is produced by firing a factory case in an improved chamber. Yours is a wildcat on a WSM case. Doesn't make it less effective, just the definition.

I can still hear that squealing noise of air being slowly let out of a balloon... :)
What was the total amount of 300 WSM brass, ADG made in this run?
Was it 5,000 pieces?...10,000 pieces?

just because you did not get any does not mean they did not make a bunch.
no they are not winchester, nor lapua...but i bought some having waited 2 years.
did you actually order some last year ??

-So, how many pieces did they make?
-We all waited 2 years
-No, but I’m getting the feeling that a large percentage of this run was sold on pre-order…

That’s how everything is right now. I can’t think of any bullet, powder, primer, or quality brass that lasts in stock for more than 10 min for the last two years.
But yes lots of people called ahead and ordered brass. Unknown munitions and Creedmoor sports are the two places. Creedmoor sports started accepting back orders a week before they got it.

Well, Blue Collar Reloading had it in stock earlier today… they took my order around lunchtime for two boxes of 50 cases each. Did not pre-order.

Page has been removed now.

Limit of two boxes per day per credit card nr. $96.50 each, so around $2 per case. Very happy i kept checking.

Hoping to get to that higher node now without expanding the primer pockets.

Dang I had a bot watching that page and I guess I didn't have it setup right. Shoot.

The bullet central sizing die is working correctly on the web.

Sorry to butt in! I have some virgin 300wsm Nosler brass that fails the plunk test in a new barrel, and I'm 99% sure it's the web. Running it through my Redding FL die makes no difference. Would the Bullet Central die (the Micron Precision?) be worth trying? Thanks!

I have a Redding, Hornady, and BS dies. The bullet central did sizes the most.

I've been happy with my Redding competition FLS bushing die so far, but those Micro Precision dies Bullet Central make do look appealing. How have you found it in terms of quality and consistency given the premium price it attracts? Is it noticeably better than the others?

Alrighty. I don’t really have much choice right now. Small base dies in this cartridge are rarer than unicorns, so it’s either try the BS die, or widen the chamber. Thanks!
