a&d fx setup, just what I like, ymmv

ive been working on my setup for my fx120i and finally got it the way I like it. I drew 2 dots on the table with a sharpie so I get the platter in the same spot each time. I used 4 bolts so I could adjust the platter so its level. the platter itself came from Lowes, as did the handles. the handles made a HUGE difference in maneuverability. I use the lee scoops, like adam does in the video. the popsicle stick on the powder pan makes life easier too;). when I need to use it, the whole thing comes to the bench. when im done with it, the whole thing goes back to its cornerIMG_0228.JPG . really, really, fast and simple. you guys have helped me bunches with ideas and experience, so hopefully this may help someone else. :) bryant.

I have got to do this!! The adjustment legs on my new A&D EJ 123 are so sensitive it takes longer to center the bubble than it takes to calibrate! I have some 1/2" plywood that will work perfectly. Do you use anything to keep the scale from moving?

when I got the scale where I wanted it, I drew(with the magic sharpieo_O) an outline of the front two adjustment wheels(on the platter) and if the scale moves I just go back to the outlines. kinda like a zero, but for location.is that what you were asking? oh, and I don't turn the front adjustment wheels once the bubble is happy. like you said, if you try to level the scale every time, its a major Payne!!!

Great idea. Exactly what is the platter?

I’m going to Lowe’s this afternoon should it ever stop raining.

Thank you

Gerald

Maybe counter sink the platter to match the scale 'feet'. They could sit in the countersunk holes and be right everytime then.
