7mm 190gr A tip

Great win in difficult conditions!
Thanks...it was a fun match. My team mates's gun was pitching odd shots on the first match of the morning but shot well once the day/gun warmed up. Found out the next morning the barrel was loose. We both went clean for Sunday with respectable X counts. The come from behind victory was a bit unexpected after we blew the first match.

We had trouble getting the 6mm to handle the tail wind it was throwing some vertical. I think I ended up with a 991 with the 284 with 180s. Shooter error on several points there. Lots of fun can’t wait for next year.

What are some results at 1000? At $67/100 they better have a high advantage over the 180’s or 184’s.
People forget that it comes down to the shooter.

They hold their own at 1000. I've had a couple of match cleans with good X counts in the three or four 1000yd matches I've shot with them. A couple of wins, high finishes. The usual stuff for a ho hum bullet:p. I'll know more after this weekend as the TSRA LR championship has a lot of very good shooters. If I can pull a top 5 in that crowd it will be a statement of the performance of the A-tip. If I finish well out of the money it won't be the bullet that failed me....unless one or more 'dun blowed up' on me. That has not happened yet.

I’ve tried them on a 7-270wsm @ 800 yards and they are very promising : incredible ES and SD and very good elevation . They worth more effort to tune them

I spun up a 7-270wsm recently I have a few questions if you don't mind, what power are you using and what velocity are you getting with the 190s and seating depth. I had little luck running them at 1000 at 2950 lots of vertical.

I use 4831SC and a speed of 3057 FPS , bullets are just touching grooves.
