7mm 190gr A tip

For what it's worth, A-tip has a different jacket! They won't give up data on copper composition. A good source verified that the original AMP was 95/5 copper (5% zinc). Tech tells me it is a different jacket!019.JPG

Robin.....Reading this gives me a chuckle !! Were'nt you the
one a while back mentioning the Hornady A-Holes ??

Robin, I hope they hold up for you.
It gets hot down there in Louisiana.
Me too. I’ll run them in a match this weekend. The barrel will have 400 or so rounds on it and should be getting a little rough in the throat. I’ll be skeptical until they hold together in a barrel with over 1000rds.

:)

I’m not running then in a Fclass rifle. But I’m sure the load I’m running is likely beyond the node you are running for Fclass... no poofs. From a 5R 8 twist. I have ran them in load testing a few times without stopping. 30-35 rounds each time continuous firing. From 2900-3045.

the only ones i have had any trouble with or heard anyone having trouble with is the 153 grain atips.... havnt had any trouble with the 166 or 135 atips that i shoot... sounds like the 190's are good to go also..
