7mm-08+heavy bullets?

Any of you guys out there using 168's or 180's in a 7-08 w/1-9 twist? If you are some starting load info and best powder would be helpful. I'm just trying to figure out whats working.

Hello,

I shoot a 7-08 with 180 Berger VLD and N 160 powder.
It works really great at 2700 f/s without pressure signs.
1/3 MOA at 100 meters.
My twist is 1 in 8.5, Border barrel, 28" lenght )

44.0 grs of H4350

Necked down Lapua 308 brass
162 Amax

2700 fps and very accurate.

This was the first load we tried and did not have time to play with different loads, works very well.
