Copy that, it's a 18 inch barrel so I'm thinking a little faster burning maybe. Thinking of RL23 an 215m or 560The slower the powder, the more you might lean to a magnum primer.

What altitude are you at to get those speeds out of a 22" barrel? Great numbers.I am shooting a Bergara Crest 7 PRC with 22" barrel.
ADG Brass
COL 3.300"
Fed GM210M
H1000 68.2 gr
Berger 175 EH
What case are you using? In my 7 prc with a 26” barrel, 68.7 grains H1000 with 180 vlds shoots 1/4” at 2960. Fed 210 or cci 250 shoot the same from testing.
Almost identical to my nephews 7 mag load with 180Bergers and same fps in a 26" barrel i laod forIn my 7 prc with a 26” barrel, 68.7 grains H1000 with 180 vlds shoots 1/4” at 2960. Fed 210 or cci 250 shoot the same from testing.
I am in South Central Texas, just north of San Antonio. We are only 630 ft above sea level. What altitude are you at to get those speeds out of a 22" barrel? Great numbers.
Probably not magical....but it is a good replacement for the 7Rem mag. Just because the unneeded belt disappeared. You're never going to get 3000fps with a 175-180g bullet from a 7 PRC with anything less than a 28-30" tube.
I haven't seen 1 rifle out of about 20, with 24-26" tubes get 3000fps...
Just chalk it up to another huge marketing scam by Hornady lol. Nothing magical about a 7 PRC.
As someone that is looking at a 7mm factory rifle the 7PRC looks a good option. I'm waiting to see if Lapua make brass for it. If you are talking custom rifles then there are lots of options. For the average range shooter wanting a cost effective but accurate rifle the recent Hornady offering are pretty good.Probably not magical....but it is a good replacement for the 7Rem mag. Good for you! You have a good loading process. After 3 firings I can't get the case sized down enough to close the bolt smoothly. Belt is a problem with the two sons guns.I just don't get overly excited about it. I have a 7 Rem Mag and 7-300 Win Mag that do everything it does, and more, belt or not doesnt matter to me any.
Might be the RCBS dies they brought by. LolI've heard of some guys having that issue, but I've honestly never ran into it. I've got 9 firings on my 7-300 brass and no issues. Pockets are still tight and they feed like butter. It also shoots 1/4-1/3 MOA. 180g ELDMs at 3100. She's a hammer.
That very well could be the issue lol. I use Redding FL bushing sizer and a Forster ultra micrometer seater.Might be the RCBS dies they brought by. Lol
All my dies are Whidden. But my boys can buy their own brand!!!That very well could be the issue lol. I use Redding FL bushing sizer and a Forster ultra micrometer seater.
