Yep, a site called All Outdoor basically ripped off the story, with a little modification. No acknowledgement of the source, and the author basically pitched the story as if the 7.6 CREEDMOOR is a real thing, coming soon from Hornady.

UPDATE: As of noon on Saturday, the article vanished! Looks like they recognized their mistake. I wouldn't like to be that writer explaining himself to his boss.

That’s even funnier than the Post! It is a good reminder to try to not cross the line between silly and dangerous. I don’t see how anyone is going to hurt themselves just because you suckered them into believing your story, but it could become a PITA for the sales team at Hornady,

I'm starting to wonder if the 7.6 article will still be getting resurrected 2k years from now too. I saw it posted several places again this year. This is probably going out on a limb here but I think it's safe to say everybody's in on the joke now
