I just purchased a Mohawk -600 Remington, It has a 23 3/4" sporter barrel. I'm using necked up LC brass, Remington 7.5 primers, and for starters, 65 grain Bib bullet. First time out I have some Benchmark that never really worked for my 6mm PPC or my 6BR, so I loaded 9 cases, 3 of each load starting at 28.0 grains, which I loaded 5 of, thinking for sure it was mild enough, going up 1/2 grain looking for pressure signs.
My results were some 3 shot groups touching for the most part, and no sign of being to hot. So I loaded 5 shots each with the hottest loads 1/2 grain apart. Then Again shot the three loads starting at 3213 fps up to 3302 for the heaviest load. All three loads shoot under 5/8" at 100 yards, and my best load has twice given me under .4" 5 shots @3290 fps average on the 3 shots I clocked.
I have tested the Sierra 85 grain HPBT Game King using Benchmark and again, had 2 shot groups almost touching. I plan to try the 2923 fps load. but for now I'm satisfied for one and done load work with the 65 grain Bib at 3290 fps. It will do what I wanted this rifle for.

I am very impressed with this little 6x45, and I expect in better weather to work with some other powders. But if I just got lucky and stumbled into its best loads, so be it, it's a winner for my purpose. I really think this load will tune and shoot even smaller! I have done no neck tension tuning, or seating depth. Easy Peasy, and better than I had expected!
