6mm vs 6.5mm

I will comment on the original post and his desire for a cartridge . for shooting long for fun and hunting . 6.5 cal. i would perfer 6.5X47 L 130 gr bullets just to get a little more velocity for hunting . i shot these out to 600yds with very good accuracy. also more importantly this cartridge is not a barrel burner . that being said the 6mmbr or variants there of make exellent target rifles and do indeed hold many records . however they are not magic bullets, they are being held in the hands of very skilled shooters who can handle them very well .for killing game at long distances i would perfer the 6.5 x47 and if you don't mind burning up barrels alittle quicker 6.5x284 . Well I loaded up my first 105 bergers in the 243. win and the 87gr vmax as well and they both look very promising. Well under .5" at 100 yards. just locking down some permission on this land perfect for shooting and i will back both them up too 300 then hopefully 600 yards and see how they hold up! I am very confident the 87gr vmax should do well but im nervous the 105's will lose stability due to my twist rate
