6mm that would be good for competing in f open.

Ive decided on the brx. Panda action will need to be ordered, Bruno's has a Bat model M in stock. Either way im going to be waiting on components in some fashion, so im kind of leaning towards the Panda. Stock I still haven't gotten anyone on the phone to discuss specifics, figure for the money, might as well get EXACTLY what i want.

F-Open, weight limit is 22 lbs. Trying to figure out max. length i can go on a straight or heavy palma contour. Does the 22lb limit include front rest as well? Im thinking about getting my own reamer and have a smith do a couple barrels at the same time. Then when i get time, play around with doing a barrel on my own.

I have some new lapua brass, primers, barts 105 Hammers on order. Was thinking of getting some bergers to play with as well.

About the only thing i can think of to do ahead of time, is deburr my flash holes/inspect and sort brass. Suppose i could also sort primers too while i wait.
PM me if you want to chat. My girlfriend and I both run 6 dashers, mine is a Bat M and hers is a Panda. Both are awesome and have pluses and very few minuses. Front and rear rests do not count against weight limit.

Currently getting a Brux 7 twist parallel chambered to 6 Creedmoor for shooting open. I already have a Borden alpine set up to shoot steel and found the cartridge very easy to load and tune. Shoots 109 Bergers and 108 eldms like stink out to 1200 yards. Can get Lap or Peterson cases easily. Curious to see how it goes in open. Think it will be very competitive out to 700 yards, barrel life not with-standing.

I think the GT is a dandy for using the slower burning powders. It can be tough to get enough H4350 or RL-16 in a dasher case at times. Some lots are bulkier than others. The GT has a bigger fuel tank that may be sized just right to take advantage of the above mentioned powders without a long drop tube.

Neither are typical Dashes powders. Powder needs matched to the case. Varget or 4895 typical choices for both the BRX and the Dasher.

RL16 is my first powder of choice in the BRX and Dasher. I have 2 friends that both won state championships with it. One a BRX the other a Dasher. I don’t even bother with Varget anymore. But it is bulky and you do need a drop tube. One friend doesn’t use one and just hits the loading tray with an electric toothbrush and it settles perfectly.
