How do you know until you try?if it provides(not offers) better accuracy, and if it provides better velocity and if it provides better barrel life- I am all in. Otherwise I feel we are trying to reinvent the wheel.
Put a 6-250 or 6/22-250 next to them so we can see a comparison. What’s old is new.
I was thinking the name came from George and Tommy, and then possibly a car reference like Les Baer might use,Grand Touring. Now I can’t get Gay Tiger out of my mindLooks like a cool design. I've drank the koolaid for some silly named cartridges that shoot great! 6BRA, 6 Dasher, VarTarg. I have
to draw a line in the sand. I just can't bring myself to shoot the "GayTiger"
Not that there's anything wrong with it.
And no offense intended. I'm sure I'll get my ass kicked by one at a match.

Looks like a Norma Dasher reamer run in deep.

The Norma Dasher has a .050” longer neck. Almost the same as a regular 6BR.Wouldn't that neck be a tad or two short?
On reflection, similar to the 6x44. I missed a set of dies that Bob White had......the 6x44 sounded very interesting.
I am thinking this cartridge would make a dandy XP-100 round.

We shoot XP’s at 500,750 and 1000 yards in Wyoming and a lot of the top shooters use the 6 Dasher,6x47,and 6Creed,even a few 6-284s.I was thinking that the 6GT would be a good fit.I have made it to the shoot off with a straight 6BR Encore, she is accurate with the 105 class of bullet but a bit slow compared to my friends BRX and the Dashers. The speed loss from the shorter barrels isn’t as bad as one might think, but it is a factor for sure. Not so sure - the bbl length would negate the increased capacity over the BR, soooo why?
