Voodoo Tactical makes a real nice sniper drag bag that can be had for well under $200. There is plenty of room in it for a 60" gun and lots of equip. as well as a long cleaning rod and a second gun should you feel the need. Worth taking a look at......

I have the case listed at right on the following website (.080", single gun case w wheels). They are not cheap; however, they are very long, extremely well-made, and will protect you rifle from pretty much anything short of a nuclear explosion. I bought it specifically for flying to matches with a 30" barreled F-TR rifle. It's longer than is absolutely necessary for just the rifle, but the length is sufficient for my 52" Tipton cleaning rod, which is about 58" overall including the handle. It's nice to have that along when flying to matches.

The dimensions on the linked page do not say whether they are internal or external. They appear to be external. If, so, the SKB 2R6416-8 case is larger and IMO more rugged (aluminum dings up easily and then looks "poor"). What are the INternal dims for your case? This is the Plano that I have. It will hold two of my F-TR rifles with 30" barrels, with very little room to spare. My custom stock has a 15½ inch LOP with out the buttplate adjusted out, so it's a little longer than most.

I carry on my scopes.

I may end up with one of the ICC cases before this is over.
