They are well made, good zippers, and good padding. Plenty of pockets for other stuff if needed. Bottom line, I just like the construction of them and feel my firearm is protected when traveling.

This has some nice side compartments. Should fit your 49.5" rifle, assuming that includes muzzle brake if you have one.

I have this exact bag and it is great quality. My rifle is 51” overall and it fits perfect. Plenty of storage space for small items, Velcro inner straps hold rifle secure, and heavy duty zippers.
