6 Dasher load. VV140 or VV150 first?

Considering only these 2 powders for now. Which would you choose to purchase first for loads in my 6 Dashers with a 105 Berger? Hoping to purchase just one and be done, god willing. Lol! Any and all advice is appreciated. Thanks guys.

With my particular lots, I have to run a CCI#41 with N150 in my dasher. For some reason, I can’t get a CCI 450 to cooperate with N150. And I use N150 to run slower at ~2800 fps. I use Varget to run 2900 and above.

My experience has led to bigger SD’s when I try to push N150. It’s still shoots good though.

I haven’t played with N140 yet

I've never tried N140 in my Dashers, but then the single 8lb jug of it I've bought was purchased back in the late 1990s, for use in 223 AR15 service rifle loads.

I first tried N150 in the Dasher based on where it was placed on several burning rate charts I looked at. In the very first Dasher bbl I had in 2004, N150 produced velocities & accuracy very similar to what I was getting with Varget. Flame temps of N150 were listed as considerably lower than Varget, and I couldn't help noticing how much easier & smoother the first wet patch through the bore after shooting with N150 was, compared to how rough the first patch after shooting with Varget was. Over the course of a couple dozen years and several 8lb jugs of N150, I've seen burn rates vary quite a bit, generally becoming faster, based on pressure signs at lower velocities than what I was getting with earlier lots. With this being the case, I haven't even considered trying N140 in the Dasher.
