6.5x286 deer loads

hi guys I have a 6.5x284 and need a load for deer ( 120g Sierra or 100 inter lock )and fox or 90g
I would like to use v165 ?

Thanks uk stalker

Those are light bullets. How big are your deer? I recently switched to 140 Accubonds. I can give you some 130 and 140 grain loads for hunting but I never have shot anything else except the 108 Lapuas and I don't know how they would do on deer at 3550 fps.

most deer would be small 35lb but some up to 100lb ( none the size your deer ) I have a load for the 120g they are good, only got 24in barrel. I would like a fox load with 100g bullets. Hodge powders are hard to find here :(

I currently shoots a 6.5-284 Krieger 8 twist on a blue printed Rem 700. It has turned out to be my favorite all time hunting rifle. It parked all my other builds. Pure accuracy, light recoil. Five shot groups in the .300's. Used it for 545 yard South Dakota antelope, 450 yard Kansas white tails, Pa. White tails. All one shot kills with the following load. 51 grains of H4350 and the Berger 130 grain VLD hunting seated .007 into the rifling. Try it. You will be amazed. deadeye1@ptd.net
