I guess I'm kind of shocked no one has pointed out that 205s are magnum primers.

Popapi is Correct -- Federal 205 and Federal 205M (Match) are listed as "Small Rifle Primers", not "Small Rifle Magnum" like the CCI 450s.

Sure,I stand corrected and offer in my defense lot #4A 3611, marked 205 small rifle magnum primer ( a carton all that is left of a case). In addition, I have a case of lot #3CR676 marked 205GM small rifle primers.
So it was and now it's not.
I used 205s exclusivly in the 6PPC starting in '91 and always knew them as small rifle magnum primers. I have no idea when they changed.

John -- that's a interesting bit of history. When I talk to the ATK guys next I'll ask them when the product identification changed (and why). Thanks for the info.
