Why do you have all the rifle gear when you are fishing for coyotes?
All for the low low price of 12 years worth of time lolWhat a cool little project rifle! Plus now you have great primary extraction, and true concentric threads for the firing pin and shroud assembly. Thanks for sharing.

I'm using Magpul 308 AICS magazines without modifications.Like they say the Grendel is based on a fatter 7.62x39 case not the skinny 5.56 so you need the larger diameter bolt face (from PT&G). And there would also be a problem with feeding from the double stack magazine into battery ; as the new grendel bolt face will not match up with old 223 magazine follower. All you need to fix that is a 7.62x39 follower. But since a 7.62x 39 follower does not exist all you need to do is use a shortened .308 one. My Grendel Remington 700 is 100% dependable, weighs in around 6 1/2 lbs with scope, shoots about .5 inch groups..but it was not cheapest rifle I ever bought. If I didn't have that 700 action I not have done the project.
