does anyone have any load data for one. I've been looking around on net and can't find much.
WC870 is available and, while not canister grade, is reasonably consistent from lot to lot as mil-surp powders go. I have quite a pile of this stuff from three different lots and the chronograph tells me that all three are whisker-close in burn rate.Try google... And get yourself a LOT of H870 and H5010 if you can find any.

Grab some of this stuff and a grain scoop to feed the powder funnel.
I've never mixed different lots. I'm sure someone with experience will soon opine. With respect to WC870, I have enough on hand that combining and mixing the three lots would present a logistical problem. I'd need a bath tub.Just curious...
When is it advisable to mix different lots of same powder designation in order to achieve one consistent quantity?

H870 was a very dirty powder when I used it many years ago. Personally, I would look at the loads in Handloader and pick another choice.just dip the case in 870 is what we done with 140smks
