Just as well, spent my fun money over the last week. Found a cherry Sako AI 223 and a couple of others I couldn’t pass up. Thanks for the info though, maybe if it collects dust for awhile they will be more willing to a come down a bit…..

It's already been sitting in their shop for some time I'd bet. They put things on GB if it hasn't sold in their shop for some time.

Some pawn shops don't age firearms. I guess they figure firearms hold there value. My experience in retail tells me it is about turns. You make more money by turning over your inventory.

The rifle that started this thread was listed on gunbroker at 2700.00 buy it now. The auction ended weeks ago and I see listed again. Link below If interested. I’m tempted bit I have too many projects, many forum members were familiar with this cool little cartridge and thread has a few links and good info in it. The auction has dies and brass included.

Ah back up again.
I finally got my 20BR put together earlier this year. I was not looking for speed, 55 Berger’s are what my plan was. I took my time and didn’t pressure myself to get it done until the had my basket clear full. Was supposed to be a no turn but I didn’t like the clearances, so neck turned them. Better to small than to big.
I was surprised and happy at the same time, pure pleasure to work with. My chrono readings were great, results on paper were excellent. It has been boringly accurate.

If the above cartridge is better I will be interested when I wear this one out.

I like the long neck on it. You've just gotta wonder when the limit is reached on case capacity vs bore diameter. jd

Judging by the powder charges in the copied post above, capacity looks roughly similar to a .20 Dasher. Far less than the .20-.250.
