Not sure where you live, but I know if several places in western North Carolina that had varget in stock as of last week.

If you dont believe temps makes a difference, shoot about ten rounds over a chrony, then let one set in chamber for about 20-30 seconds. See what that does to your es/sd.......

Any places close to Asheville/Brevard? I have family there and like Eric32 said here in Columbus as well as powder valley its almost imposible to find Varget. And I am down to the wire. And I refuse to pay the gouge price some people charge. +1 on leaving a round in the chamber for a period of time after heating up a barrel. I leave my round on the feed ramp till the target comes up... It makes a difference... Varget not as much but some other powders yes. Matt

update to my load situation

did load testing with 41.0 and 40.5 of 4064 with seating depth of at the lands, +.010 and +.020

Not a singe load combo was under 30 FPS for 10 rds

So I am going to give up on the good ole 4064 so i got 8lbs for sale here in the Columbus,ga area if anyone is interested
