Well I found a great load for the norma improved with 230 bergers and vv n570. Last night I did a ladder test at 400 yds with .5 gr increments in powder charge, slight breeze from left to right. 6 shots had like 1.0" vertical. Top shot in ladder was 3060 fps. Loaded up 3 shots in a mild node this morning and shot a .764"/.182 moa group at 400 off the bipod. 87.7 gr of N570 was pushing a 230 at 2925 fps w ES of 13. Very mild load but stupid accurate. I then fired the same piece of brass 7 times. Between each shot I trimmed/deburred, annealed, full length sized and then seated a bullet. 7 shots had roughly 2" group at 400 off the bipod. Im very impressed considering I got off the rifle each time. ES of 27 for the 7 shots. 5 out of 7 shots had a es of 10. The primer pockets were super tight after 7 shots. I did another torture test on primer pockets a couple days ago. Had a hot load and reloaded that case 12 times and the primer pocket was still super tight. I could have gone much longer but it got boring and wasted a bunch of time lol. This Lapua brass is extremely tough stuff. This barrel has over 500 rounds through it and is an absolute tack driver. With my self timing 5 port I was able to watch the trace go down to the target with the scope at 25x

I ran into a smokin deal on the ABM ammo and bought 4,000 rounds of it. It was on clearance pricing and was loaded with Lapua brass. However I was surprised at how many rounds were messed up. A bunch of the bullet tips are deformed. A few of the necks are flared out and won't chamber. And one round is beyond messed up, pic included. However the ES is really good on the 230 gr ABM ammo. Last rifle I test fired w it last week had an es of like 10 for 7 shots. maybe I just got lucky on that string. I was just disappointed in the overall quality given the retail price of almost $5 a shot. Had I bought them at retail I would have returned them. However I bought it to test rifles with and have lapua brass for customers rifles.
Hey Ryan
Are you favoring 230s over 215s

Check out this sexy tack driving 300 Norma Improved shipping out tomorrow. Shots 2,3&4 down the rifle measured .183” @ 100 yds w factory ABM ammo.

Brux sendero contour
Slabbed 5 port “Muscle” brake in 3/4x24 threads
Bixn Andy Tacsport trigger

Right out of the box this is as bad ass as it gets.
First time behind 300 Norma first time with this rifle have a look .
ABM 215 ammo
100 yrd test run, will put some distance out to 1400yrds tom.
Thanks so much Ryan
Also thx to Ledd Slinger ,back in the fall he spent a lot of time with me in regards to 300 norma imp.
Almost went with his reamer. Ryan is so confident with his chamber and how easy it is to shoot. I decided to get on board.

So here is Ryans build personalized . I know its not for everyone just how I like em ,
Also for 35 rds punched in elevations shooting 600yds. and 1000yds .
app showed 2885 F/S. Used this input .Next shoot was 800 yds came up on the money, first rd hit .
After 35 rds velocity went up to an avg. 2930. So far have 45 rds down tube. ABM 215s

Well I did a powder charge test in the 300 norma improved with 8133 and 230 bergers .022 off the lands w cci 250 primers and lapua brass. Very promising so far. Several nodes. I cycled the bolt with one finger to better see when I got a bolt click. At 3025 fps it just barely got a faint click. There was a node at 3000 fps so I loaded 3 rounds up and shot them. ES of 10 and .240" @ 100. Loaded another 3 up and shot them at 400. There was a slight breeze but it held 1 1/4" vertical. Total of 10 shots to find that load. Not the fastest powder out there but it shot great with minimal testing. Even the 84 gr cupcake load at 2750 fps to get a velocity baseline with and foul the clean barrel shot a bughole. This barrel has about 600 rounds through it right now and is still driving tacks. Throat doesn't look bad at all.

I finally found 200 pieces of new Lapua 300 NM brass and they are on the way. Looking forward to seeing what my 300 NMI target rifle can do with some quality cases.

Also picked up a Kelby Atlas Tactical Lapua action and Bixn' Andy TacSport PRO trigger from Piercision rifles. Ryan is a great guy to deal with. Cant wait to get the hunting rifle version underway. Thanks for your help in getting me set up with a good action and trigger Ryan :)

No problem at all. Thank you for your time and business. Youll love that action and trigger. That brass is a game changer. I loaded a 230 at 3080-3100 fps with retumbo in a 26" barrel. It was a warmer load. Got a click at the top of the bolt. I reloaded that piece of brass 14 times and the primer pocket was still super tight. It was an accurate load also. I shot 8 of those shots onto my 400 yd steel plate. Was 2.2" of vertical. Which is impressive considering I was shooting off a bipod and got off the gun each shot and went and reloaded that piece of brass again.

In order to run the 3.850 Accurate mags which APA bottom metal do we need? They make a standard LA and also a CIP LA?
