.30-06 F-Class Rifle

All 3006 cased will have case wall thickness runout. Remington is the worse. I will not shoot it. Winchester and Sellier & Bellot are neck in neck and just a hair under Lapua as far as case wall thickness runout.
How about federal cases ? I have several hundred 30-06 from federal premium ammo that I've saved over the years. How's the quality of federal brass in 06 ? I use it for fireforming 22-250 AI and 260 AI. Seems pretty decent in those cartridges.

If you're easily offended don't leave your house and definitely don't go on the internet anymore. You sound like one of those liberal clowns I see on social media or crying on TV all the time. Have a nice day.

Im not offended.

I always have a nice day. Always. Its a choice.

Federal is an excellent choice too. Their quality is very good and I have shot it before. I just have an abundance of Winchester, Lapua and now some Sellier and Bellot.
I would have no compunction to shoot Federal brass.

No. Its a self timing Fat Bastard. I take it off.

OMG!!! Sorry to Garandman or anybody else for using the word bastard.. I wouldnt want to insult anybody born out of wedlock
Mike, Kinda like the liberals. Even though that's what something is, they want to call it something else, something make believe, kinda like the world they live in.
Boy, the ignore button sure is nice. Don't have to see ignorance...
My buddy has the fat bastard break and really likes it. Like the rifle and name. Good shooting..

Ha, funny you should say something. I learned a while back that the word "boy" is racist. No joke. I was called a racist by an inmate for saying the word boy. To me, it's just a word, as in a young male. To this day, I have NOT stopped using the word boy as a way to cave to the liberal ideology.

You called a rifle Black Bitch, so now rifles that are black have the right to be offended. No humans were mentioned so how can any be offended? My DPMS ar 10 is so pissed that it won't come out of the safe.

Imagine how uptight the "sensitive one" would be if he came through Pulaski NY...Fat Nancy's is still going strong after all these years, great selection of tackle. Nobody has been offended except on the occasion someone asks one of the fine ladies behind the counter which one of them is Nancy. ;)

I have not. I have read that the twist rate for them is 1:9. However, i personally think that Sierra sometimes exaggerates their bc of their bullets. I have shot the 195 TMKs and also the 195 Hornady ELD M's. The pic attached was from the 195 ELD M's at 300 yrds.View attachment 1127762
Sierra has in the past had some inflated numbers for BCs. I can say that the numbers for there current line up is very close today. At least several of the TMKs I shoot myself.

My thing is that when you get used to shooting one particular bullet that works very well for you, and you grow used to using it, it is hard to change and break that process. I have shot the regular 190 SMKs and they do well....but not as precise as the Berger 190s

I have experimented with Shooters World's version of their 4350 powder. I can tell you that it takes about 1.5 to 2 grains more to get the same velocities as IMR4350.

IMR4350 has been the most consistent for me and actually the most precise, while H4350 comes in at a close 2nd. I know that will leave some people shaking their heads because H4350 is supposed to be just like Mannah from Heaven. .... however, IMR4350 has never let me down.

No reason to leave a great load to search for another. I've done it and wasted time only going back to my old faithful. I think it's just something us shooters do. Keep looking for better when the best is already in front of us.

IMR4350 has been the most consistently accurate powder in my 22BR, my 6.5 Creedmoor, and across a couple 30-06s. Seriously underrated powder and I've had no tuning or temp sensitivity issues with it because the accurate nodes are always wide, so a little speed up or slow down doesn't knock it out of tune.

How is the accuracy with the Shooter's World 4350 ? I have some and have yet to try it . I noticed on the SW site they said it is the slowest of all the 4350s ,wondering if you have tried H 4350 and IMR 4350 and if so you have found the same ? Thanks

I have tried all four 4350's...that being IMR, Hogdon, Shooters World and AA.

For my rifle, IMR4350 gives me the best performance. H4350 comes in at a close 2nd, Shooters World is accurate powder. But as I stated before, it takes about 1.5 to 2 grains more to get the same velocity as IMR4350. I have not given up on it though. Accurate Arms powder gave me the worst accuracy out of all four. Its dirty too.

Maybe other have had different success. I am shooting my last F class match this Weds for the league that I am involved in. Inam looking forward to it it because I know the rifle will hammer unless I screw up.
